The Gunyah Building is a Heritage-listed beach cottage, dating from 1911. It is the oldest surviving building in Terrigal and remained in the Kay family until its sale to Dr Collins in 2009.
It now contains a state of the art dental surgery while still maintaining the outside facade and many of the original internal features. It is disabled-friendly with wheelchair ramp access from the rear car-park.
The practice opened in mid 2011, a fitting time to celebrate the centenary of this wonderful historic building. Utilisation of the cottage as a dental surgery will ensure The Gunyah remains a significant part of Terrigal's social fabric for many years to come.
