Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hani Dalati practises at the Tajmeel Specialized Medical Center in Abu Dhabi and looks back on more than 25 years in dentistry. After his dental degree at Al-Baath University in 1996, he continued his training in the United Kingdom: a Master of Medical Science in Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics at the University of Sheffield (1999) and a Master of Dental Science in Orthodontics at the University of Leeds (2001).
He holds the M.Orth from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a Fellow or Member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ireland, as well as an Associate of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He examines for the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh and mentors for the Association of Dental Implantology (UK). He is registered with the UK General Dental Council.
Alongside his clinical work he teaches as an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine and Dentistry (UK) and publishes in peer-reviewed journals, including work on interleukin-1 in gingival crevicular fluid (Journal of Clinical Periodontology) and on the microbiome of dental implants (Microbial Pathogenesis).
