Board Member
Dr. Kay Pehrsson is a specialist in oral surgery and a certified implantologist at Haranni-Zahnmedizin in Herne, Germany. Born in 1957, he studied dentistry in Hanover, Marburg and Göttingen and passed his state examination in 1986.
From 1987 he worked in the department of oral surgery at the University Dental Clinic in Göttingen, completing his specialist training in oral surgery by 1990 and later heading the central radiology section as a senior physician. In 2001 he entered private practice near Nuremberg before joining the Haranni Clinic in Herne in 2008.
He has served on the board of the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGOI) since 2015, is a DGOI-certified expert in implantology and heads its Westphalia study group. He also lectures in the DGOI's implantology curriculum and teaches internationally on implantology, surgery and dental radiology.
