Dr. Antonio F.-Coppel Jr. — full name Antonio Carlos Fernández-Coppel García — practises at Coppel Dental in Madrid, a family practice whose dental tradition dates back to 1892 and which is now in its fourth generation.
He studied dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he also completed his doctorate cum laude. He then followed a postgraduate programme in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCLA in the United States. He placed his first implants in 1994 and has around three decades of implantology experience.
Within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) he serves as President Elect and Ambassador for Spain and hosted the third ICOI symposium in Madrid. As director of the Coppel Dental Academy he passes on his experience through continuing education courses and is a regular speaker at professional training events.
